**This is a temporary full time 38 hours per week leave relief position until 24 March 2024 with the possibility of extension.**

**What you'll be doing**

Provide a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Surgical Bookings Dept. to achieve objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner in accordance with LHD Policy and procedures.
Support the maintenance of the elective surgery wait lists in accordance with the Ministry of Health Waiting Time and Elective Surgery Policy.

**All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.**

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

- Demonstrated customer service skills and experience.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative in the workplace, work unsupervised with previous experience surgical booking/admission procedures.
- Working knowledge of iPM and eMr patient information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Evidence of a flexible approach and ability to adapt to change.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive issues in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated administrative experience working in a busy environment with proven capacity to prioritise and attention to detail.
- Medical Terminology or relevant experience.
