**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer with expertise in aircraft structural integrity, usage monitoring, and continued airworthiness regulatory environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the continued airworthiness of a fleet of military aircraft. We offer opportunities for career advancement, from project and program management to leading a small team.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Develop and implement an Aircraft Structural Integrity Management Plan
- Ensure aircraft operate within their design certification basis.
- Provide advice to engineering management on usage, fatigue management, and Continued Airworthiness
- Liaise with regulators to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Assess modifications for potential impact on fatigue or usage.
- Participate in proposal and technical report development.
- Stay current with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies into designs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in structural engineering, with an understanding of continued airworthiness
- Comfortable briefing and advising engineering management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be an Australian citizen and eligible for an Australian defence security clearance.
