Line Setter

Activ Pharmaceuticals, based in Smeaton Grange, manufactures liquid and cream products in cosmetic and therapeutic grades and is a part of the Activ Pharmaceuticals Group.

We are now looking to employ a **Line Setter & Maintenance Worker** to join our dynamic team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operation of the manufacturing filling and packaging lines, ensuring lines run efficiently at all times with optimum output, highest level of quality and mínimal wastage
- Troubleshooting of any problems on the line and making adjustments to support an acceptable level of output and quality in a timely manner
- Performance of all machinery strip down, cleaning and re-assembly of equipment ensuring any concerns are reported to the Production Manger
- Monitoring of the quality of the product throughout the filling run and making appropriate adjustments to maintain compliance and standards
- Adherence to and sustainability of the highest Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and WHS Policies
- Understanding of customer standards and specifications to ensure the line minimises on complaints or rejections by maintaining a high quality of both the product and packaging at all times.

**Essential Criteria**:

- High mechanical aptitude
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Good GMP and sound practical understanding of WHS
- Self motivation and the ability to work unsupervised
- Proven machine operating experience in either a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry
- High accuracy of and attention to detail

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
