**About the team**:
The Business Grants Hub and Integrity Division (BGHI) is responsible for establishment and management of granting programs in partnership with other Commonwealth departments. Working closely with policy partners to ensure successful delivery of outcomes across government, BGHI supports streamlining of government grants to improve business interactions and service delivery. We provide an end-to-end grant delivery service using a national network. To support this holistic approach our internal structure includes program delivery as well as core enabling functions.

The BGHI grant design teams work with the Department of Industry, Science and Resources and other Commonwealth agencies to co-design grant opportunities, providing strategic advice and briefings on grants and develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with our stakeholders.

**What you will do**:
As a member of the BGH grant design teams, your work is varied, detailed and delivered within legislative and regulatory frameworks. Our teams operate across a dispersed geographic network and maintain an inclusive, supportive culture which values professionalism, flexibility and team work. You will support members of the team to develop their capability, contribute to a positive, cohesive and innovative culture, and facilitate the production of high quality work

At the APS6 level you are expected to be responsible for your work with support from your team leader. You will work collaboratively, in a responsive environment to be responsible for the following core functions:

- manage the design of grant programs in line with procedures, performance standards, timelines and frameworks
- establish, manage and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- shape, influence and negotiate grant program design and delivery as part of a co-design process
- draft and review a range of complex documentation tailored to individual grant programs
- monitor personal and team workload against key deliverables and agreed schedules
- work with teams across the department to develop and improve shared templates and processes as part of applied continuous improvement
- provide quality program, service and technical advice
- support members of the team to develop their capability, build a positive, cohesive and productive culture, and facilitate the production of high quality work
- in some positions, support staff at lower grades to perform and develop as individuals.

The department does currently offer flexible work opportunities for many roles. The vacancies are fulltime, however part-time may be considered accounting for personal and team requirements.

There are several vacancies which are part of virtual teams with members in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney, although flexible or remote work arrangements may be considered. Please reach out to the contact officer to discuss this further.
