**Role Description/Criteria**

At St Clare’s, our mission is to inspire and educate our students to become compassionate and responsible members of society. By embracing our school motto, “Your light in our hands,” we recognise the importance of guiding and supporting our students as they shine their brightest, both academically and spiritually.

The E-Learning Leader is responsible for creating a positive learning environment that promotes growth in every student. This will be achieved by supporting staff to embrace the use of technology and effectively integrate it within the learning environment. This will include upskilling staff to develop digital technology skills and dispositions in students that supports the learning of all.

Applicants should demonstrate experience in the following:

- Be committed to the teachings and values of the Catholic Church
- Be familiar and comply with the school’s child-safe policy, standards and code of conduct, and any other policies and procedures relating to child safety
- Create and maintain a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment Understand, reflect upon and adhere to the AITSL Standards
- Coach and support teachers to build their capacity to implement innovative, appropriate and relevant use of eLearning strategies and technologies
- Facilitate Parent Information nights in regard to eSafety practices
- Support the Induction of new staff through creating user accounts and documentation
- Assist teachers to create a learning environment that promotes the best use of technology for differentiated learning
- Develop an eLearning strategic plan, in consultation with staff, and communicating developments and recommendations to the Leadership Team and wider school community
- Liaise with the school’s technicians and suppliers to ensure the effective operation of digital technologies
- Make recommendations to the leadership team regarding priorities related to technology resources and infrastructure
- Assist the Learning and Teaching Team to monitor and evaluate the use of digital technologies to enhance student learning
- Lead the implementation and development of the schools one to one device program
- Actively engage in professional learning that aligns with the School Improvement Plan
- Develop and lead professional learning for staff in Elearning
- Engage in a professional and collegial manner with colleagues, parents/carers and the community
- Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive team culture
- Participate in extracurricular activities relating to the life of the school
- Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment for yourself and others by complying with all safe work policies and procedures
- Maintain currency of first aid, mandatory reporting and anaphylaxis training
- Participate in duty supervision as rostered and other supervision duties when required
