We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Storeperson to join our team in Croydon, VIC. This position is available on a casual basis, 20 hours per week across 5 days. To be successful in the role, you will have exceptional skills in forklift operation, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
**Position Overview**:
As our Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain by managing inventory, organizing stock, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods and materials.
- Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Coordinate with the production team to meet project timelines.
- Assist in other general warehouse duties as required.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven experience in a warehouse or storeman role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Forklift license and at least 5 years of experience in forklift operation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills (experience with inventory management systems is an advantage).
- Good physical condition, as the role involves manual handling.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
- National Police Clearance.
