Factory Floor Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure efficiency, quality, and safety on the factory floor.

As the Floor Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities on the factory floor, including production, assembly, quality control, and maintenance. You will lead a team of skilled workers to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and schedule daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines.
- Coordinate with department heads to allocate resources effectively and optimize workflow.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Supervise and motivate a team of cabinet makers, assemblers, and technicians.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure all employees perform their duties effectively.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to productivity and employee development.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to identify and address any defects or issues.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement improvements and address customer feedback.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all employees adhere to OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards or risks.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the woodworking or cabinetry industry.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet-making techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficient in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as OSHA guidelines.

**Education**:

- Relevant certifications or training in woodworking, manufacturing management, or occupational safety are advantageous.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
