Boatyard Hand

Join SBW Marine - We Antifoul, PropSpeed and Detail for a marina located in Brooklyn, NSW. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, person with an eye for detail to join our small team. Casual - Full time employee Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. This position gives you the opportunity to work in a hands-on, outdoor environment with providing quality service.
- Machine and hand sanding of hulls
- Application of primers and antifouling paints by brush, roller or spray painting,
- Detailing of vessels exterior finishes, which includes machine polishing, hand polishing, cleaning with water, detergents and other recognized products,
- Machine and hand fairing of hulls after grit blasting for osmosis work.
- Maintaining a clean and organised boatyard
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Fill out daily work sheets and job sheets,
- Perform other duties as required

Prior experience in a Boatyard, Marina or similar environment is preferred.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions is required

- 8 hour shift
