**About the Role**

TAFE SA is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our Automotive Workgroup as a **Lecturer in Automotive**. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator with hands-on industry experience to contribute to the training and development of the next generation of automotive professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality training to students in the Automotive programs, including Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Auto Electrical, and other relevant trades.
- Develop, implement, and review learning materials that incorporate flexible delivery methodologies and industry best practices.
- Maintain current knowledge of technical skills, industry standards, and e-learning platforms to support the learning experience of students.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to ensure training meets workforce needs and aligns with ASQA requirements.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- **Trade Qualifications**: Certificate III (minimum) in Automotive, ideally dual trade qualification in areas like Auto Electrical, Marine, Mobile Plant, Motorcycle, or Small Engine.
- **Training Qualifications**: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116 or later) or currently working towards it.
- **Experience**: Proven industry experience in automotive trades and established relationships with industry stakeholders.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in relevant technology, software packages, and learning management platforms used in Automotive Vehicle programs.

**Special Conditions**
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
