**YOUR ROLE**

As the **Principal, Heritage Transformation**, you'll lead and drive the development and effective execution of decommissioning and simplification within the Heritage Data systems landscape. You'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our legacy data landscape, ensuring effective risk management, and driving strategy to remove or migrate.

You will deliver on key business and technology simplification initiatives that relate to Data Heritage systems. This role requires significant collaboration with key stakeholders across the business to identify and deliver exceptional business outcomes through Heritage Data system simplification and Technical Debt removal.

This role is responsible for the delivery of material change to the Data heritage landscape and you will need to be customer focused, results driven and able to work collaboratively with our people, customers, and wider group decommissioning team. You will cultivate a can-do attitude, demonstrate, and encourage positive outcomes that consider the bigger picture to simplification.

This is a fixed term contract role for 12 months and you can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Extensive experience in project management, with a focus on independently driving transformative initiatives.
- Proficient in agile methodologies and project management best practices.
- Strong grasp of data architecture, ETL processes, and database technologies.
- Demonstrated capability to formulate, plan, and refine strategies and initiatives into actionable plans for successful implementation.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, adept at collaborating with diverse stakeholders across various organizational levels.
- Proven skill in identifying and mitigating risks associated with legacy systems, along with proposing effective solutions.
- Experience in decommissioning legacy technology solutions and spearheading modernization efforts is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to exemplify organizational values and foster a collaborative culture.
