**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Create sketches, charts, and plans for projects like drainage, water supply, and roads.
- Oversee and carry out fieldwork and lab testing.
- Understand and follow work instructions, using the right methods and tools.
- Gather and analyse data, and perform calculations.
- Estimate costs for materials and check that work meets standards and contracts.
- Inspect construction projects and manage maintenance and repairs.
- Test construction materials and soils in the field and lab.
- Collect data for traffic surveys.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Keep detailed records of work and test results.
- Review designs to ensure they are practical and safe.
- Assist in project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders about project progress and concerns.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Design at a minimum, or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum of 1 year trade qualification is required as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson,
- Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant discipline is required,
- Committed to adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries at the workshop.

- Salary: $74000 annually excluding superannuation.
