**The Opportunity**
The primary purpose of the role is to complete statutory and strategic planning work with supervision and direction from the Section Leader and the other planners within the team. The role involves the ability to work autonomously, within a team, demonstrate initiative and professionalism.

The key functions of this role are the completion of tasks related to statutory and strategic planning projects. This involves working as a Planning and Urban Design Team Member and working autonomously at times. This role is responsible in the carrying out a variety of planning related tasks.

**About You**

The role is responsible for assisting in various planning projects, collaborating with experienced professionals and gaining hands-on experience in statutory and strategic planning.
- A degree in Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- The ability to self-manage and willingness to undertake new challenges. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Results/Solution orientation and focus.
