Field Service Technician

Located in Underwood, Queensland, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Technician. Current and demonstrable experience in the weighing industry with an electronic or mechanical background is highly desirable

**OBJECTIVES OF OUR ROLE**:

- Calibration, repair and service a wide range of scales and weighbridges; Attending customer service calls to test, service, repair, and install a multitude of company products;
- Effectively and autonomously manage customer break-down call-outs with a structured fault finding ability;
- Accurately complete customer service reports including customer sign off, time sheets and expense reports;
- Assembly, testing, and packaging of goods for sale, hire or repair as required in the workshop; Identifying ways in which you can contribute to the service team’s profitability through streamlining processes and systems.

**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Prior experience in the weighing industry is preferred, but not essential;
- Hands-on experience in automotive, mechanical and electronic is preferred, but not essential;
- Strong customer services skills, positive and proactive attitude, attention to detail and a solid documentation discipline;
- A good level of computer literacy with Word and Excel proficiency;
- Must possess a valid drivers’ license;
- Willing to travel and work overtime where required;
- Have the ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgement;
- Demonstrate success in delivering product training to the customer including understanding how strong service can drive further organisation revenue streams;
- NMI qualifications is highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
