About the role

As our Asset Delivery Driver, you will provide support across the various departments of Infrastructure to deliver plant, equipment, and material to various locations across the network.

This role is a permanent full-time night shift role based out at Docklands, Sunday to Wednesday, 8pm to 6am.

Main duties include

Operate a heavy haulage vehicle and deliver plant, equipment, and material to multiple sites on the MTM network
Operate and load equipment such as excavator, backhoe, front loader
Ensure Infrastructure team is notified of incorrect deliveries, stock levels, damaged stock or any other problems detected
Ensure the safety of all persons working near track assets is maintained
Coach/mentor junior members of the team
Contribute to any works planning activities required to ensure works are performed as efficiently as possible
Accurately report on works completed daily
Ensure potential hazards are identified and prevention/control measures are provided

About you

Must hold a Heavy Combination Licence (HC)
Possess a Heavy Plant/Machinery qualification
Sound knowledge of the safety requirements of working in the rail and maintenance industry, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Codes of Practice, regulations, safe working practices and High Voltage Rules
Good written and oral communication skills
Track Vehicle Operator (TVO) - desirable
First Aid Certificate Level 2 - desirable
Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure - desirable
