The AEC is building its capability by establishing an Enterprise Test Team within the Digital Technology Branch (DTB) to enable the agency to mature its testing capability through a streamlined and systematic approach to testing and assurance activities.

DTB is committed to building the agency's information technology capability by providing resilient, modern, and secure systems informed by data and insights, and to upskill teams to develop innovative new products and services.

The Modern Workplace Program is designed to deliver a contemporary IT experience for all AEC staff. The program addresses a number of legacy IT challenges the Commission has been facing and modernise how we work moving forward.

The Indigo Program within the Modernisation Delivery and Assurance Branch is a broad program of work within the AEC translating business vision and strategy into effective enterprise change with a specific emphasis on the modernisation of business capabilities supported by legacy ICT systems. The program has the responsibility of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of ICT solutions through the identification and replacement of legacy components and the reduction of technical duplication, complexity, and inefficiency.

The role will include:

- Engaging with multiple development teams to understand the scope of product releases and the development of automated testing processes to align with acceptance criteria. These automated test cases will be based on business objectives, functional requirements, and service level requirements.
- Implement and manage the development of automated test playbooks, test scenarios and/or test scripts for a specific release.
- Undertake testing activities including automated functional, integration and regression testing for each release cycle.
- Report and track the resolution of issues as they are found in automated testing.
- Assist with issue triaging.
- Develop reporting dashboards to demonstrate the outcomes of the automated testing.
- Liaise with vendors, AEC's business areas and IT Branch staff as required.
- Advise the AEC on automation testing software.
- Other tasks as required

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience in supporting the development and implementation of ICT Projects within a remote team environment.
- Leadership skills to support and enable a positive team culture.
- Highly skilled and focussed on excellent customer service and business engagement, with the ability to engage and collaborate internally with other key IT areas, project teams, business areas, and external service providers.
- Highly effective in managing multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies, and risk.
- Ability to independently develop and determine approaches to solutions in a practical and creative manner.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and interpretive skills with high level of attention to details.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maturing test automation processes and capabilities

- Experience with MS DevOps, as well as Agile Ways of Working
