Located at our global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne; reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the Studio Photographer/Videographer will bring our products to life within the electronic catalogue arena, enabling our internal and external customers to view a current and back catalogue of goods offered for sale. Create a structured Image library to be utilised within the eCAT along with Product Release bulletins for new products. This role will also involve supporting marketing creating video content and editing.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Perform photography and Manage our Product Photo Studio.
- Eventually perform videography within indoor and outdoor lighting environments.
- Photograph all required Products to international standards (refer DCI standards). Take photos in order of product importance/priority.
- Shoot marketing photos and videos when required.
- Perform and /or oversee postproduction image and video editing.
- Maintain a digital product photo library.
- Instigate appropriate jigs/fixtures for best product placement.
- At all times, strive for the company’s image and brand name to reach & maintain market leadership.
- Ensure the correct and current use of corporate, company and product descriptions, logos and design.
- Ensure content management is secure and backed up regularly.
- Proficient in Adobe creative suite, in particular Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Ability to use pen tool to clip path products.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- A recent graduate of digital Photography with knowledge of Studio layouts and set-up.
- Videography skills, including editing highly regarded.
- Keen eye for correct composition, product aspect ratios and product feature definition (particularly for large items).
- Our preference is for someone with strong experience with Studio photography and lighting techniques.
- Knowledge on post processing of images and digital storage.
- Ability to work autonomously within a small team and factory style environment.
- Physical ability to carry/unpack/pack goods to the allowable level unassisted and to assist others with heavier goods.
