Join a global fund management company as a front of house Catering Attendant, located in Melbourne CBD;
Join a team of Catering Attendants in a professional corporate office;
Melbourne CBD | $30-35 per hour; and

Temporary contract until September.

The position

Reporting to the Front Office & Corporate Events Manager, the Front of House Catering Attendant is responsible for, but not limited to;
Manage designated tasks in the shared inbox;
Monthly reporting on Events, Catering;
Budget management;
Project & administration work;
Other Corporate Services tasks as delegated;
Responsible for vetting F&B catering requests, entering data into catering diary & other relevant reporting spreadsheets;
Monitoring common F&B areas including but not limited to all kitchens/bars;
FOH/BOH catering set-up and pack-down including all cleaning (as required)

Manage catering vendor relationships ensuring competitive rates and high quality;
Manage all catering budgeting & invoicing ensuring accurate data entry and database management; and

Stock control including regular stocktake, ordering and receiving/distribution of product shipments.

Key criteria

Experience in a similar front of house catering position;
Professional services experience is desirable;
Strong stakeholder engagement skills; and

Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
