Because Tinseltown is coming to town Tinseltown, the all-encompassing Christmas-themed pop-up, is arriving just in time for Summer to fulfill all your festive wishes. Overflowing with holly jolly Christmas spirit, this event is set to make every day cheery again. Get ready for Santa, elves, presents, tinsel, festive tunes, and an array of winter warmer drinks, including a fabulous Christmas cocktail menu. The halls will be decked with baubles, bows, hanging trees, wreaths, and every festive goodie you can imagine. Tinseltown is bound to leave you unable to resist the spirit and joy of our favorite season.

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Christmas Event Staff to help create a memorable and magical experience for our guests at our upcoming Christmas event.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and holiday spirit.
- Assist in event set-up and decoration to ensure the venue captures the essence of Tinseltown.
- Serve and recommend festive drinks from our Christmas cocktail menu.
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Be knowledgeable about the event and provide information to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the event.

**Requirements**:

- Enthusiasm for the holiday season and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong team player and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
- Availability for the entire 5-week shift (Late November to 23rd December).
- Previous hospitality or event experience is a plus, but not required.

As Christmas Event Staff, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
**Requirements**:

- Friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanor.
- Enthusiasm for the holiday season and working with children.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Availability to work during weekends and evenings, as the event schedule requires.
- Previous experience in event management or customer service is a plus, but not required.

**Salary**: $24.22 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Christmas bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Docklands, VIC 3008: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
