**About the Role**

We have multiple entry level career opportunities available for motivated individuals to join our team based in Kingsford, just outside of Gawler. Working as a member of the production team, you will be using hand-welding equipment and/or semi-automated equipment to weld or join metal construction and fabrication components, safely, to quality and time specifications and standards. You will be taught from a team of passionate and professional tradespeople in a safe, state of the art environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Competently and safely operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc.
- Competently and safely set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment, grinders and carbon rod gauging
- Label and sort manufactured plate material into product groups
- Mark-out, cut/drill/punch holes as required for plate material in accordance with fabrication drawings.
- Layout, position, align and assemble components together in accordance with fabrication drawings and tolerances.
- Mechanical cutting of steel and compiling of cutting lists from fabrication drawings.
- Measure and cut raw materials with straightedges and high accuracy.
