**You'll be responsible for**
- Supporting the preparation and implementation of product strategy, driving regular and ongoing research and monitoring to help inform strategy.
- Developing and implementing changes to products as informed by analysis, market and customer research.
- Performing the analysis of product risk metrics and preparing product review and Product Governance packs.
- Driving analysis of risk appetite and underwriting guidelines as input to the target market determination and adherence to the risk appetite statement.
- Conduct analysis of portfolio, including the identification of results drivers, variation from target and preparation of communications to convey findings.
- Reviewing the pricing analysis and outcomes of pricing changes.
- Driving the performance of underwriting control and recommending and implementing enhancements based on findings.
**About you**
- Experience in a product / portfolio analytics, development or management role acquired in a complex matrixed general insurance organisation.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen by using insights related to the market, opportunities, risks and competitors within the insurance industry as well as the dynamic levers that influence these factors.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and contribute to the provision of pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgement and solutions.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and translate potential for operational improvement, growth and/or cost saving opportunities.
- Ability to plan and priorities effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
