**WARRANTY CLERK - AUTOMOTIVE**:

Due to an internal change, we have a fantastic opening for an enthusiastic, energetic, and talented **Automotive Warranty Clerk** to join us in this exciting time.

**Prior experience as an Automotive Warranty Clerk will be highly regarded.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Essential responsibilities include:

- Working closely with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, and Technicians to ensure accurate recording of warranty repairs.
- Preparing, submitting, and following up all warranty claims and reconciliation documents for the Service Department
- Maintaining thorough knowledge of Manufacturers’ warranties and interpreting warranty information and policies to the Service Department and Customers
- Processing all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by the manufacturer.
- Determining validity of warranty claims.
- Costing warranty repairs, account reconciliation, and preparation of repair orders
- Processing and submitting warranty claims.
- Review and process all returned/rejected/adjusted warranty claims, track each claim until its final resolution.
- Reconciling all warranty receivables and working with the accounting department to obtain payments.
- Liaising with workshops and customers on vehicle warranty, parts warranty, and warranty claim entitlements.
- Supporting service campaigns and other promotional activities, in line with Manufacturer and Customer expectations
- Ensuring warranty claims completed in accordance with warranty terms and conditions.
- Effectively liaising with the Workshop Foreman, Technicians and Service Advisors to ensure we provide the best service to our customers - both external and internal.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience working as a Warranty Clerk within the Automotive Industry is essential, ideally within a multi-franchised dealership.
- Full work rights in Australia
- Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
- Excellent attention to detail and following processes.
- Ability to provide great customer service and great phone skills.
- Effective conflict resolution skills to facilitate positive outcomes in a timely manner.
- Ability to work within a team environment with a can-do attitude.
