Your Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and efficient administrator to support their operation team with accurate documentation and reporting of commodity deliveries, logistics planning, harvest and sales processes, revenue data, commercial contracts, etc.
As the Commodity Administrator, you will be the primary contact for collating information regarding commodity reporting, dispatch, quality, and compliance across 11 properties that produce cereals and horticulture crops.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will also assist the management team with tracking weekly delivery schedules and commodity quality reports.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Maintaining an accurate record of commodity movements
Managing all commodity tracking programs and crop marketing contracts
Engaging with commodity buyers, processors and transport and logistics contractors
Generating consolidated reports on commodities, revenue data, on-farm activities, and others
Liaising with farm administrators and farm managers for real-time coordination of commodity reporting
Other duties as required to assist the efficient farm and financial cohesive operation
About You
Highly organised and detail-oriented, you will have a strong administration and/or account coordination background, with a genuine desire to work in rural industries or agriculture.
To be successful in this position, it's important that you can address the following
- 4+ years of experience in an administrative position
Certification / qualifications in Business Administration (desirable)
High level of computer literacy
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Interest in agriculture or commodity management (experience not required)
