We are currently seeking an experienced Buyer for our Rolling Stock Sourcing team to be part of an exciting project based in our manufacturing site in Dandenong

You will be responsible for all C-Parts/Auxillary and Sundries related to the Rolling Stock project Requirements

Day to day activities involving supplier development, RFQ management, supplier and contract negotiations and business award conclusion with Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)
- Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase
- Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
- Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool
- Monitor sourcing project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Business or Engineering or demonstrable experience with purchasing or supply chain management
- Previous experience with Purchasing preferably in a manufacturing or project environment
- Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince)
- Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in area of specialization
