This role is a great opportunity for someone with sound experience in budgeting and forecasting to have key inputs into the day-to-day operations of the wider company. You will need the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment and be rewarded with some great commercial exposure to our growing business

**Where and how you can work.**
The position is based in Brisbane, Australia, and we have offices in Darwin, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Wellington. At Entain AUS & NZ, we value a flexible work environment and support a hybrid working model, with employees spending two days a week at the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays), ensuring work-life balance and individual preferences. _We are lookng for this role to start in January. _

**Your day-to-day...**
- Review month-end transactions and prepare journals for the finance team.
- Work with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee specific cost centre budgets and assist with collating Information from key business partners.
- Present financial insights in meetings and assist in translating complex financial data into understandable terms for non-financial teams.
- Guide the HR/Payroll team when needed.
- Champion the use of data-driven decision-making and digital tools in financial analysis.

**What you’ll bring...**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business partnering/ commercial finance roles.
- A bachelor’s degree in the business/commerce discipline.
- Strong excel skills including experience of constructing complex yet understandable financial models (P&L and Balance Sheet).
- Ability to thrive as part of a team within a changing, high-volume environment.
- Effective partnerships with the wider business to influence and be a key contributor to the financial management of the business.
