- Being an integral part of our Open Spaces Business Unit who provide maintenance to Sutherland Shire's natural environment to improve lifespan and usability of our local infrastructure.
- Working in our Bushland Unit, you will be responsible for taking a hands-on approach to care for our Council's urban bushland, by rehabilitating and conserving.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to work health and safety and supporting your colleagues in implementing safe work method.

Things You’ll **Do**:

- Provide a coordinated approach to bushland management in the Sutherland Shire.
- Utilising your expertise in bushland regeneration you will be involved in restoration works, tree planting and erosion control.
- You will be responsible for ensuring all activities are completed in an effective, efficient and safe manner in line with Council's Operating Procedures
- Provide advice and service to internal and external customers including the selection, preparation and operation of appropriate plant and equipment.

The **Fine** Print:

- **Package**:$65,400 - $69,200 gross p.a. plus 11% superannuation
- **Hours of work**:Temporary Full Time (38 hours) with a 9-day fortnight. Work is expected to be available for up to 12 months.
