**About the role**

As a result of our growth and expansion across Australia, we have an exciting opportunity in our Transition Services team and are searching for a Procurement and Contract Specialist.

Day to day you will use your expertise to oversee our QLD portfolio and undertake several procurement activities such as; lease administration, facilities management, contract management of fleet finance and supply contracts for passenger, light commercial vehicles and mobile plant, equipment and uniforms.

You will be part of a culture of continuous improvement and embrace opportunities and innovations that lead to improved service delivery. You will partner with providers, financiers, suppliers and other government agencies which will assist you with sourcing new fleet, property and fit outs.

This is a temporary full time role until February 2024 and is based in our Brisbane head office and you will be the go-to person for all queries in the QLD region.

**About You**

You are an experienced procurement and contract management professional, known for your attention to detail, problem solving ability, strong commitment to people and great customer service.

You can naturally build rapport as a trusted advisor and always deliver what you promise - managing several stakeholder relationships, identifying and prioritising risks and utilising advanced vendor and supplier management techniques to influence business outcomes and cost savings.

As a self-starter with extensive procurement experience (preferably in a public sector environment) you will have the opportunity to own your work, which feed into clear KPI’s - all within a flexible working environment and access to a multi-disciplinary and supportive team.

Juggling conflicting priorities is second nature and your time management is second to none, you use all the modern tools of a good communicator and have experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office suite.

You are an analytical thinker that brings problem solving and consultation skills to the table - something you are proud of doing and can provide many examples of.
