**Job Purpose**:
This role plays a vital role in creating continuous improvement in the recruitment function of the business. The incumbent will contribute to the People & Culture strategic plan across the Engineering & Construction project and corporate portfolio requirements covering Power, Renewable, Resource and Infrastructure sectors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the business in the planning phase of bids and tenders
- Collaborate with the P&C managers, advisors and team members to drive change and deliver high-quality results
- Obtain and verify proof of entitlements to work in Australia, qualifications and licenses
- Liaising with internal stakeholders in relation to visa processing
- Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives or tasks as directed by National Recruitment Manager

End to end recruitment of blue (& some white) collar professional permanent, fixed term, bulk and contract positions including, and as appropriate:

- Manager briefings
- Investigating and utilising mainstream and alternative methods of sourcing
- Resume & phone screening
- Reference checks

Pipelining, talent management & workforce planning:

- Maintain knowledge and understanding of organisational developments to ensure staying abreast of business requirements
- Develop Talent Maps as required in line with the diversity initiatives, succession planning and as requested by internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with the business to effectively plan for future mobilisation and management of redeployment opportunities for the workforce

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications in either Human Resources or its equivalent
- High level of experience working within a recruitment and/or HR environment, including end-to-end recruitment
- Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, defence, avionics or any other safety critical environment
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment
