Optical Assistant

We are looking for another wonderful employee in our very long running Australian family owned optical business.

Part time or full time available, but must be available to work 9-5each day. Monday to Friday work only.

We are hoping to find someone who is enjoyable to work with, caring, diligent with a good foundation of reading, writing, maths and social skills.

We ask that you have some flexibility in terms of location as we have a practice in niddrie, which we ask you to travel to when necessary (staff illness, holidays) but the main aim is to have you working in gisborne. Therefore we recommend own car and licence.

Sales skills are an absolute asset, as is any prior optical work completed. We will however be training people on the job, so not an issue if your first time in the industry.

We have lovely staff you get to work with and really nice patients to care for (for the most part:)
