**What You Will Be Doing**

The Forensic Mental Health in Community Health Service is dedicated to the delivery of comprehensive, safe, and high quality primary forensic mental health interventions to individuals on Parole or Corrections Orders who have mental health disorders. Clients have a primary diagnosis of moderate mental health illness/disorder, have been assessed as moderate to high risk of re-offending, and have a court mandated Mental Health Treatment and Rehabilitation condition on their Community Corrections Order. The service supports clients' mental health needs with a small team consisting of MH Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Neuropsychology, and Peer work.
The team leader role has both operational and clinical responsibilities including overseeing the clinical and operational work to ensure high quality, evidence based, and efficient service management. The Team Leader carries a clinical load of mainly comprehensive intake and assessment of clients referred to the service.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Relevant qualifications and registration to professional boards is an essential criteria (AHPRA for Psych/OT/Nurse with further MH training. AASW for SW with further relevant MH training)
- Extensive experience in the Mental Health field, including risk management, assessment, and treatment
- Experience in leadership roles including supervision of staff
- Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant standards.
