**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team of foodies and the RNC Supply Chain Leadership team.
We are looking for a person who:
- is passionate about food and food quality
- is skilled in liaising with suppliers and customers
- is driven to continually improve the processes and quality standards for the company
- is capable and thorough with technical documentation and data entry and analysis
- has knowledge of industry quality standards
The role will be based across our Melbourne offices.
**Responsibilities**:
- Formulate and implement the procurement business plan/ strategy in consultation with the Supply Chain Manager.
- Lead, set goals, hold to account and performance manage the Procurement team.
- Follow approved quality supplier program and product requirements.
- Driving exceptional supplier relationships.
- Actively participate in NPD process by suggesting new products based on market trends.
- Ensure RM availability for internal and external demand.
- Provide prompt responses to Sales & Customer Service team queries.
- Maintain margins and pricing.
- Negotiate best terms with suppliers.
- Continually seek cost savings.
- Maintain data of all transactions in the company system.
- Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to manage purchase to payment process.
- Meet Supply Chain budget and KPI’s.
- Periodic comms to sales teams on market trends, availabilities, price movement, etc
**Skills and Experience**
- 5 years experience in category management/ procurement in a similar role, demonstrating strong negotiation skills.
- Experience with nuts, legumes, spices, snack food, confectionary etc would be advantageous.
- FMCG - Food manufacturing experience.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem solving mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Proficiency in using information systems/ ERP and intermediate MS Excel skills for data analysis.

**Qualifications**:
- Studies in Supply Chain/ Business or similar
**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance bonus
