**Job description**

1)Have previous experience in Fibre Optic work including:
a.Hauling fibre optic cable
b.Splicing from 6, 12,24,48,72,144 and 288 core fibre
c.Customer’s installation
d.Fault finding in network using various tools such as OTDR.
2)Civil industry qualification including:
a.License to operate excavator 2 Tonne.
b.Pit and pipe installation
c.High Rigid Victorian license

Job duty as below:

- Haul Fibre Optic
- Install Lead-in conduit
- Prepare cable termination at the node
- Splice (or joint) cable in an underground Fibre Optic Splicing Closure (FOSC).
- Prepare cable termination at customer junction box
- Splice (or joint) cable between the pigtail and the fibre optic at customer’s premises
- Commission the fibre optic cable to ensure that the power level is within the carrier’s specification
- Test and commission the Optical Network Unit and call back to call centre to sign off.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $54,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
