Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Distribution Linesperson to join Service Stream based in our Werribee / Geelong operations.
About the Role

Service Stream’s Power division is currently seeking a Linesperson to join our growing company. You will be responsible for LV construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks through the safe & effective operation of associated plant and equipment.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Geelong / Werribee

Reporting Line: Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

As a Lineworker you will be joining an excellent team that is responsible for LV construction and maintain the distribution electricity network to maintain the integrity of the network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner to ensure an uninterrupted supply to customers across the CitiPower / Powercor network.

About You

To be considered for the General Line worker role, you must demonstrate previous experience working within this capacity, along with relevant training and LV licences. You will be a Victorian trade qualified Lineworker, holding a Certificate III in Distribution (Powerline). Day to day, you will be involved in the installation and maintenance of overhead powerlines.

You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

- Strong understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety practices.
- Ability to meet individual project productivity & target costs.
- Hold a current licence to perform High Risk Work, Construction White / Blue Card.
- Share our commitment to the highest quality of workmanship.
- Desirable - Forklift licence, Chainsaw Ticket, Dogging ticket/s.
