Purchasing and Supply Chain Supervisor

**Our Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing and Supply Chain Supervisor to join the team. Located in Narellan and reporting to the Managing Director, some of the responsibilities include, however are not limited to:

- Develop & implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement of materials and supplies.
- Negotiating key item pricing & deliveries for both local and overseas suppliers.
- Price tracking of purchased materials to ensure any price changes are justified and are in line with market movements/indices.
- Undertake and coordinate project purchasing at best possible pricing, per specified scope of work.
- Ensure effective consultation between relevant parties on the project deliverables.
- Maintain and resolve supplier invoices.
- Implement inventory control procedures to provide traceability and to minimize inventory holding costs.
- Manage the businesses logistics requirements.
- Lead a small team consisting of a Storeperson and Forklift drivers

**The Person**

To be considered for this role you will have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field Business (Management, Contract Management or Procurement or Engineering) preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Procurement/supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Current forklift licence.
