15674i Electorate Officer

A temporary role has become available within a Government Department for an Electorate Officer (A04 Equivalent), located in Wynnum. Initially for 3 months, there is a possibility of an extension for this role.

**Duties will include**:

- Assisting in the provision of administrative support services including diary management, scheduling appointments, meetings and events
- Preparation of business documents such as briefing notes, general research and correspondence
- Records management and data entry of expenses, including the coordination of travel requirements and travel claims
- Supporting and engaging with constituents and community groups following established processes in liaising with constituents, groups and organisations who contact the office for information and assistance (via face-to face, mail or electronic contact)
- Assisting with maintaining systems and procedures for information and document storage and management
- Checking and reporting any technical issues associated with items of office equipment or security equipment, and assisting with office stocktake processes
- Maintaining established procedures in regards to the use of office petty cash systems (where applicable)
- Order and purchase office supplies and stationery, as directed by the Officer
- Other general administration tasks as directed by the Officer
- Previous administration experience and strong clerical skills
- Sound computing skills (MS Office Suite and the ability to pick up new software quickly)
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Minimum typing speed of 40wpm at 98% accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
