Job Description
Spare Parts Interpreter

You will be working within the spare parts team in providing excellent customer service to both trade and retail customers. You will be assisting customers by selling and providing spare parts specialising in brake & clutch.

The **Parts Interpreter **will perform duties including
- Identify spare parts from diagrams, sketches and photographs
- Interpret customers' parts requirements, both in person and over the telephone
- Provide parts specifications advice to customers
- Telephone and counter sales
- Quoting and booking workshop jobs
- Quoting and selling re manufactured parts
- Generate parts and credit requisition orders
- Manage stock control
- Prepare parts for delivery
- Develop and maintain new business relationships
- Assist management in forecasting sales of parts, both long and short term

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Previous experience of working in similar roles with experience in the automotive industry an advantage
- Sound knowledge of clutch and brake systems.
- Excellent communication skills, in person and via telephone
- Sound computer literacy
- Accuracy and sound attention to detail
- Good time management and planning aptitude
- Perseverance and patience
- Mechanical aptitude and analytical thinking
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Friendly, professional and approachable
