- For over 30 years our client has been the leading service provider in water and irrigation management throughout Queensland. With a recent change of hands, they are looking for Experienced Pump Technicians to continue the outstanding service they provide to the industry.

**What exactly is this role doing?***

Due to continued growth in the pumping and filtration division, we are seeking an experienced pump technician to join their team of experts. If you are passionate about pumps and enjoy working autonomously, this is the role for you In your role, you will be required to do the following;
- Pump servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Remove and install a range of differing pumping equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults
- Time will be spent between workshop and site work.
- Identify additional scope of works required to resolve site issues
- Strip and repair a broad range of pumps
- Work across minor and major installation works

**What do you need to be successful?***
- Minimum 3 years experience with installing, servicing & repairing commercial and domestic pumps essential.
- Experience with EF Welding and Buttwelding
- Experience with a wide range of automatic and manual backflush filters
- Experience working with pumps - Davey/DAB/Calpeda/Grundfos/Lowara/Mono/Onga
- Current Valid driving licence
- Able to work unsupervised, with sound troubleshooting skills

**Bonus points***
- Electrical disconnect/reconnect, confined space and dogging licenses
- Mechanical fitting/plumbing background preferred
- Some experience in end suction centrifugal pumps, multistage pumps, progressive cavity and positive displacement pumps, gear pumps and split case pumps.
