Cleanaway is the largest, publicly listed waste management company in Australia. **The position**

Reporting to the Municipal Contract and Operations Manager, the position is embedded in the Council offices at Port Adelaide Enfield, Marion, Adelaide and Charles Sturt. You will be responsible for the delivery of Cleanaway’s education programs with a range of community members and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

- Delivering a range of educational programs to the community as determined by the Councils
- Adapting program content to suit a varied audience including preschool, primary and secondary school students, and adults
- Working with customers including Councils, schools, and communities to increase participation in waste reduction and resource recovery
- Managing own work schedule and bookings
- Completing regular reporting requirements within designated timeframes
- Representing Cleanaway’s Centre for Sustainability at meetings, public events and trade shows

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in presenting to groups
- Ability to deal with a range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in sustainability
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently with mínimal supervision
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in sustainability, science, or education (highly desirable)
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Current Class C driver’s license
