**About the Position**

Newington College is seeking a Property Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis located at our Stanmore campus to join our Property department working 7am to 3pm. The Property Coordinator is responsible for supporting all aspects of the College’s management of owned and leased properties, facilities and grounds, as well as the development, maintenance and operation of these assets. The role has an administrative focus and is oriented towards supporting the broader property team - led by the Property Manager - to best serve the upkeep, compliance and improvement of the infrastructure and facilities associated with the broad teaching, learning, pastoral and co-curricular offering of the College.

The Property Coordinator is also directly responsible for the coordination of valuable information, relationships and resources. It is also the front of house for all property department matters such as answering telephones, receipt of incoming deliveries and mail.

**About You**

We have deliberately not provided set and narrow selection criteria. However, it would be expected that the
- knowledge, skills, and qualifications relevant to this role
- TAFE certificate in secretarial or administration, or equivalent qualification or experience
- driving Licence Class C
- demonstrated experience in administration and/or property sector, ideally in the management of property asset portfolios and / or financial systems
- demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office and facilities management programs
- excellent customer service skills including ability to handle complaints
- excellent problem solving and negotiating skills.
- demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise own work taking into account the impact on others to achieve results to meet deadlines.
- excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understand and adhere to the College’s Child Safeguarding policies and practices.
