Scaffold Draftsman

**The Role**
We are looking for an experienced scaffold draftsman to join our growing team, providing scaffold and fall protection configuration drawings and gear lists for residential constructions on a national level. As an expert in everything scaffold, you will provide so much more than scaffold configurations by delivering the absolute best possible outcome for client.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing accurate scaffold configurations and gear lists for residential constructions
- Ensuring Buildsafe quality and safety standards can be met for every install
- Liaising with clients on technical details to ensure the install will meet their requirements
- Collaborating with other Buildsafe departments to ensure all required specifications are made available to the Technical Design team and the field
- Ensuring every install is the best possible outcome for the client whilst providing a competitive advantage for Buildsafe (considering labour and equipment)
- Ensuring installers have all the information necessary to provide an install that meets the clients requirements
- Receiving feedback from installers, conducting root cause analysis and implementing improvements

**About You**

In order to be successful in this role you will bring:

- Recent scaffold industry experience
- Experience with iScaff or CAD
- Experience in scaffold drafting or in the scaffold technical field
- Demonstrated understanding of architectural plans (ability to interpret house plans)
- Medium to high computer literacy (basic Microsoft programs)
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Construction or trade experience (desirable but not essential)
