**The opportunity**

The Assistant Technical Advisor roles provide scientific, technical and operational policy support services for the EPA’s regulatory, policy and operational functions to protect the community and the environment. You will be part of a team and an agency that is committed to increasing the EPA’s technical capability to respond to key threats to the environment.

Working in a team, you will play an important role in developing and delivering a range of projects to address strategic priorities to achieve and maintain a healthy environment and healthy community. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in the EPA, broader cluster, and communities and government and non-government stakeholders.

**About you**

You do not need to be an expert in environmental matters and regulation, but you will be curious to learn more about what the NSW EPA does to protect human health and the environment. You are a team player always ready to roll their sleeves up and jump in when a job needs to be done, no matter how big or small.
