Essential skills for the roles are:

- Willingness to enrol in Cert III in children's services under traineeship agreement
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Initiative and a dedicated and professional attitude
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, written skills, initiative and a dedicated and professional attitude towards children's learning and development
- Current (or ability to obtain) suitability card (Blue card)
- Current (or ability to obtain) First Aid, CPR & Asthma/Anaphylaxis qualifications
- A passion for children
