**About us**:
We are a large not-for-profit 225 place service located on the grounds of Metella Road Public School in Toongabbie. We acknowledge the Tugagal clan of the Darug people as the traditional custodians of this land on which we live, play, and learn.

- You have the ability to lead and support your dedicated team of educators.
- You ensure the health and safety of the children in your care at all times.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You have the ability to build strong partnerships with families and the local community.
- You have great communication, time management, organisational skills, and leadership abilities.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Diploma, Certificate III or IV in School Age Education and Care or equivalent, or successfully working towards a qualification
- Current certificates for First Aid, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management, or willingness to attain
- Thorough knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and My Time Our Place
- Capacity to be the Responsible Person
- NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and design engaging activities
- Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- The ability to form warm, responsive relationships with children, families and staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and use of information technology platforms.
- Immediate commencement.

**Child Safeguarding**:
We are looking for an individual who understands, adhere to, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the **Child Safe Standards**). In your position, you will help to take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.

**Child safeguarding methods for this position, include, but are not limited to**:

- A NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
- Thorough screening.
- Reference checks.
- A national criminal history check.
