**Welding Inspector**:
- Certification as a Welding Inspector with sound understanding of AS1554.1
- Inspect fabricated products and ensure they conform to specified requirements
- Lead metal shop to ensure the department meets deadlines and products meet customer standards and specifications.
- Coordinating the supervision of employees by following operating procedures, OHS policies and procedures
- Participate in training and development activities related to responsibilities.
- Working in a production workshop environment as part of a manufacturing team. You will expedite the flow of work within or between departments according to the production schedule.
- Be involved in company continuous improvement program including Robotic Welding implementation
- Reporting on operational objectives accurately and in a timely and professional manner
- Investigate and develop solutions with the leadership group for operational issues across the site
- Implement, lead and participate in all toolbox meetings

Our Client is a leading manufacturer for Transportation parts in Australia seeking a Welding Inspector who is able to manage a small team. Located in Broadmeadows the company offers a clean, modern work environment.
**Job Requirements**:
- Good understanding of welding methodology with experience in a similar welding supervising role
- Understanding of engineering/manufacturing/welding drawings
- Understanding of welding symbols, terminology, and failure modes
- Experience in weld inspection
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
**Hours and Rate**:
Salary Position, $90,000 to $105,000 dependant on experience
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.00pm
Friday 7am to 1pm
