**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a **Superintendent** with **strong construction industry experience** to join our Construction Team. As Superintendent, you will assist in the coordination and delivery of multiple projects across various locations in Victoria to achieve maximum productivity in a safe and profitable manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with company/client project managers and site managers to define project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing, and deliverables
- Provide leadership to employees and ensure they have the required knowledge & tools to complete required works safely & efficiently
- Supervising subcontractors to ensure that all project works are completed safely and in compliance with client procedures, engineering drawings/ specifications, budgets and timeframes
- Liaise with subcontractors planning and performance to mitigate variations and delays
- Preparing, monitoring, and updating plans and working on weekly and monthly programs
- Providing engineering and technical advice to the project team
- Assisting with Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring quality requirements are being met
- Ensuring HSEQ standards are maintained to an elevated level
- Support finalisation of contractor’s Management Plans (HSE, Risk, HR, Project Controls)
- Driving a positive Safety culture
- Prepare lift studies

**Skills & Experience**:
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role
- Motivated, focused with attention to details
- Have a strong commitment to Health, Safety and Quality
- Planning, problem-solving and coordination skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Strong leadership & people management skills with the proven ability to guide, direct and manage groups of diverse employees
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team.
- Strong understanding of programme management, deadlines, and budget controls

**Must Have**
- High Risk Work Licence: Advanced Rigging (at a minimum)
- Construction Card
- Current Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance
