**About the role**:
UA is seeking the right person to fulfil our Spiritual Care Manager role. If you are highly skilled across spiritual care management _and_ development of a team, motivated to take our spiritual care team to the next level of spiritual care practice and professionalism, we would love to hear from you This work will be aligned with UA’s Spirituality Framework and the revised Aged Care Quality Standards. **Role Purpose**:
To support the Director of Mission and Mission Team in embedding UA’s vision for spiritual care, through: Management and guidance of chaplains; Supporting implementation of Mission’s vision & strategic initiatives. Ensure the safe, person-centered, accountable provision of high level spiritual and pastoral care in response to the emotional, spiritual, and religious needs of residents, families, and staff.
**The Spiritual Care Manager will**:
- Understand the context of providing and managing spiritual care within an organisation.
- Lead, manage, and guide chaplains and spiritual care practitioners in the delivery and development of spiritual care and spiritual care leadership.
- Value and develop collaborative relationships with senior leaders across the organisation.
- Encourage open, respectful teamwork within the spiritual care team.
- Participate fully in recruitment processes, lead monthly chaplain/spiritual care meetings, and conduct performance development plan reviews.
