Join us as the Supervisor of Bushcare, where you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing and revitalizing our precious wetlands and bush areas.

**What you will be working on**
- Lead a high performing team and drive adoption of safe work practices, provision of a high level of customer service and ensure a high standard of work as an active member of the leadership team.
- Coordinate maintenance activities in our native bushlands and other areas safely and sustainably through engagement of high performing teams built from both internal team members and external partners.
- Lead delivery of efficient, safe, and sustainable services, that result in superior programmed regeneration and maintenance of the City’s rehabilitation / revegetation of native bush and wetlands and delivery of environmental management plans and programs.

**What are we looking for**
- Minimum of a Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management or relevant equivalent qualification.
- Identification and familiarization of natural vegetation regeneration/ revegetation, particularly in riverine/wetland areas.
- Appropriate weed identification control techniques.
- Basic bushfire risk management.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of land management principles and practices including maintenance, conservation, revegetation and regeneration in riverine, wetlands, riparian and natural environments.
- Experience with elements of contractor management.
- Ability to capture spatial field data using Geographical Spatial Systems (GIS)
- Awareness and or experience working with erosion and sedimentation matters.
- Possession of Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
