We currently have an excellent opportunity for a HSEQ Advisor to provide HSEQ safety leadership, advice, and expertise to the Engineering Solutions (ES) business to ensure appropriate culture, systems, processes and compliance is continually monitored and championed.

You will provide focussed efforts to ensure the critical risks in the Coates business are appropriately identified and controlled, regularly monitored, and tested, and that employees and contractors are appropriately and regularly trained and educated around the identified risks within the ES business.

You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:

- Drive and develop appropriate HSE behaviours, capabilities, and culture amongst the new businesses, ensuring a process of continuous improvement.
- Lead investigations/ICAMs into critical risk failures/incidents and ensure appropriate recommendations and corrective actions are made and learnings shared.
- Conduct regular site visits to review environmental performance, audit key processes, support key initiatives and actions and provide guidance and support to site personnel on critical risk activities and issues.
- Provide strategic advice to the Engineering Solutions team and operational teams on critical risks and identify training needs, contribute to the development of HSE and critical risk programs/training to assist with improved performance and compliance with legislative requirements.

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- Degree in OHS or equivalent (preferred) or other suitable training in OHS
- 5+ years' experience in HSE management in similar industry or construction, mining or heavy industry
- High level organisation skills for this fast-paced environment
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to deal with all levels of an organisation
- Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience with safety and risk management authorities and legislation
