**About the Role**
As an Automotive Lecturer at TAFE SA, you will be responsible for delivering industry-aligned education to students in automotive, with our specialities aligned to Light and Heavy Vehicles, Auto Electrical, Marine, Mobile Plant, and Motorcycle/Small Engine systems.

You will leverage your industry expertise to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences, while fostering strong relationships with industry stakeholders. This role requires the use of innovative teaching methods, e-Learning platforms, and flexible delivery approaches to cater to a diverse student population. You will also ensure training programs stay current with automotive advancements and support students' personal and academic growth in a safe, inclusive environment.

The successful applicant will have:

- Relevant trade qualifications (minimum Certificate III level) in an Automotive discipline.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116) or equivalent.
- Preferably have dual trade qualifications in Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Auto Electrical, Marine, Mobile Plant, or Motorcycle/Small Engines (highly regarded).
- Extensive experience and connections with industry stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using e-Learning platforms and other educational technologies.
- Strong knowledge of training, assessment, and flexible delivery methodologies.

**Special Conditions**
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
- A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
- Eligible to work in Australia
