**About Our Client**

Haven Care Australia is looking to recruit an HR Assistant.

HR Assistant reporting into the Director for this organisation:

- Generalist HR role providing HR advice and support to Senior Management across the wider business
- Advise and coach line managers to support across performance management, disciplinaries and grievances
- Talent management, performance and bonus reviews
- Develop and deliver learning and training plans according to business needs
- Employee engagement and retention processes including engagement surveys and reporting on employee satisfactions
- Compiling HR Reports for the business heads
- HR Projects and duties as required by the wider HR function

**The Successful Applicant**

The successful HR Assistant for this Canberra based firm will have:

- Immediately available
- 5 year's experience in a similar generalist role
- Knowledge of Modern Awards and Employment Legislation
- Strong stakeholder management in working with different individuals and teams across the business
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work autonomously and partner across all seniority's
- HR degree qualified

You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing correspondence while providing front-line customer service to internal and external stakeholders of Haven Care Australia. Other key responsibilities include:

- Providing support around the employee lifecycle, including drafting advertisements, compiling welcome packs and induction materials, monitoring, and tracking probationary periods and completing offboarding procedures.
- Conduct Performance appraisals and organise trainings if gaps are identified.
- Creating and implementing programs and initiatives related to employee wellbeing, benefits, and learning and development.

You observe fine details, ensure accuracy, identify information gaps, and look for logical sequences of information. You can plan and track progress on work tasks, support others in time management, use time efficiently, take an organised, methodical approach to work, and address priority tasks first.

**Salary**: $50,203.02 - $76,672.99 per year
