**Project Lead: Planned Surgery Recovery & Reform RMH**
- ** Drive the successful delivery of planned surgery recovery and reform projects within surgical services at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.**:
- ** Full Time Fixed Term, until June 30, 2024.**
- Play a pivotal role in project management working with key leaders in the surgical services division at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) and the West Metro Health Services Partnership (WMHSP) to lead and drive the success of the planned surgery recovery and reform program at RMH. This role will be a key member of the RMH planned surgery delivery and innovation team who will work collaboratively with staff across all areas of surgical services at RMH and with WMHSP colleagues to lead the successful planning, implementation and evaluation of the planned surgery recovery and reform program initiatives.
**Your new role**:
- Lead key projects as a part of RMH planned surgery recovery and reform program
- Use project management skills and quality improvement methodology to effectively implement projects and meet project deliverables in required time frames.
- Engage key stakeholders and support teams to create sustainable health system improvements with a focus on the delivery of Safe, Timely, Effective Person-Centred Care.
- Work closely with Project Manager to build and support high performing project teams.
- Support completion of risk management, project reporting and evaluation requirements.
**About you**:
- You have tertiary qualifications, preferably in health, science or relevant discipline
- You have experience in project leadership or management or in undertaking quality improvements as a lead in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and motivate team members
- A proven track record of effective stakeholder engagement in a complex environment, ideally where this has fostered and enabled cultural change
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to work co-operatively as a part of a team.
- A mature approach to self-direction with strong time management and prioritisation skills
